Grassy Hollow to Vincent Gap

Today Angelica and I took to the local mountains in Wrightwood and followed another part of the PCT. The weather was great and the 7.7 mile trail was varied with some nice elevation gain. We are surprised at how much easier these miles are getting.  We are so lucky to have so many beautiful trails close to home.

We saw a deer on the trail, she must have been use to people because she stopped and stared at us and didn’t run away. Here are some of the the views from our hike.

It is looking like I like trees in my landscape photos.

Hiking in Sedona, Arizona

Gary and I are visiting my cousin Nilda and her husband Mike in the beautiful town of Sedona. I of course hiked this morning while Gary went out to golf at the Sedona Golf Resort. What a beautiful place to hike the colors are so deep and rich.  Nothing like this in So Cal.  However we do have beautiful sights in Cali.

Gary and I enjoying the sunset near the Sedona Airport.

Cathedral Rock in the distance from this mornings hike of about 5 miles.
